Congratulatios to CSM graduate Gary Beecher who recently won the "Rudolf Jansen Pianist Prize" at the IVC Lied Duo Competition in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. The prize, named after the famous Dutch pianist Rudolf Jansen, is awarded to a pianist that has made it to the Lied Duo finals and who, according to the jury, has distinguished themselves technically, interpretation-wise, stylistically and by his or her sensibility. The award also carries a €1,500 tag!
