Aisling Fitzgerald is a freelance Producer and Opera Administrator from Tipperary and holds BAMus and BMus honours degrees and Higher Diploma in Education (Music and English) from University College Cork. Qualifying in Stage Management at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Aisling worked exclusively in Opera Stage Management for over sixteen years with International Award-Winning Opera Festivals and houses and worked primarily with The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden London between 2010 and 2016.
She has recently completed an MSc in Personal and Management coaching at University College Cork specialising in the vocational coaching of creative professionals, musicians and singers. Aisling is an alumni of the OPERA America Leadership Intensive cohort (2020) and the Opera Europa Opera Management cohort (2018), and was appointed to the board of directors at The Source Arts Centre, Thurles in 2023.
Aisling works as Concert and Opera Producer for Cork Opera House, Festival Producer for Towers and Tales Children’s Book Festival at Lismore Castle and was appointed Producing Facilitator and Mentor for the MA in Arts Management and Creative Producing at University College Cork in 2019. Aisling’s creative practice is captured through The Retracing Project - a portal for our social history to entwine with creative practice that engages with our natural and architectural heritage.
